My Biography

After practicing for many years as a Registered Nurse in a traditional medical practice, Muffy began to develop an interest in the holistic approach to health. Her search in the holistic realm has led to studies in Reiki, Healing Touch, Healing Touch for Animals®, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Animal Communication, Essential Oils and Sound Therapy via the use of tuning forks. Her love of horses has led her to broaden her practice to include both humans and animals. She is a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and certified in both Healing Touch and Healing Touch for Animals®.

Muffy is currently a member of the Saratoga Integrative Practitioners Network, the Albany chapter of the Holistic Nurses Association, the Associated Bodyworker and Massage Professionals as well as the Healing Touch Professional Association.

She spends the months of January to mid May in South Carolina and the remainder of the year in New York state. Private, phone or distance sessions are available by appointment.
