Healing Touch

Healing Touch sessions can be done almost anywhere, depending on the comfort of the client.  Clients have a choice of where they might want their sessions to be held.  You may choose to come to my home office, to a small, well appointed, smoke free office managed by an established local massage therapist in downtown Burnt Hills or, if you are unable to travel, in the privacy of your own surroundings whether that be in a home, hospital, long term care facility or elsewhere.

Healing Touch for Animals®

If the animal is domestic, a Healing Touch for Animals® session is usually held in the comfort of the animal’s own home. In the case of a horse or farm animal, the barn would be the location of choice. A feral or wild animal can be treated at their place of location—distance sessions–from across the yard or in the woods—can be done.  An HTA session usually involves the animal’s caretaker and it is requested that the caretaker also be present.  This adds to the animal’s level of comfort.  If it is a shelter situation, a brief history from the staff is requested.

Tuning Forks:

The use of tuning forks can be incorporated into either a Healing Touch or a Healing Touch for Animals® session.  There is a difference in both the set up as well as the use of the forks between the two modalities.  A Healing Touch session involves a complete set of forks (13 in all) each tuned to be a fifth above or below the next fork in the series.  Two forks are always used and what you decide to address during your session determines which series of forks are used.  In a Healing Touch for Animals® session, only one fork at a time is used.  The animal set incorporates the use of 3 forks—the OM fork, the 5^th interval above OM as well as the 5^th interval below OM.  Animals, once introduced to the forks, seem to enjoy them and relax readily.

Essential Oils:

Essential oils can be incorporated into either a Healing Touch or a Healing Touch for Animals® session.  This can be discussed prior to the session; a sensitivity test done will be done prior the use of any essential oil on either a person or an animal. Only therapeutic medicinal grade Young Living Essential Oils are used.

Distance Sessions:

All of the above can be performed at a distance.  It does not matter if the client is across the room or thousands of miles away, the response will be the same.  Distance sessions provide another way to facilitate healing.

Animal Communication Sessions:

Animals are sentient beings with feelings and personalities of their very own.  You may have a question about why your animal is behaving in a certain way or how he/she is feeling.   Perhaps you are unsure about bringing another animal into the current family household.  Wouldn’t it make sense to ask your questions directly and get a response?  Would you like to be able to understand how and why your animal is behaving in a certain way?  Now you can.
